Serving as a nurse for nearly 4 decades has full-filled my calling in life and exceeded my expectations.

My area of expertise includes critical care, emergency care, ambulatory care, and leadership.  I had the distinct privilege of being chosen to become a Fellow in the National Association of Public Hospitals which afforded me to travel across the United States to study population health in various states.  This experience provided me with a broader view of the pivotal role of nurses play in improving the community’s health. Nursing is broader than what we do in a brick-and-mortar building eight or twelve hours a day, Nursing has no boundaries for those committed to do all in their power to raise the standards of their community’s health.

I accepted the role as Treasures in September 2022.

My goals as a Treasurer are to

  • Prepare for yearly audits
  • Manage the financial health of the Alumni to include presenting financial reports to the board and members
  • Align the Alumni’s mission with operational budget
